Junior English Courses.
Host family and day school option... 12-17 year olds

ELTI bases its youth courses in small towns in West Cork. This programme is an excellent alternative to urban based courses where numbers are large and personal attention is minimum. Our students join small, friendly communities where foreign student numbers are small and where there is a genuine interest in getting to know foreign visitors.

We want our students to speak English from the very beginning and to realise it is a real means of communication. With a little effort and perseverance on all our parts, the young people will adapt and enjoy themselves through English and make many new friends with whom they will communicate through English. Free time should be a natural extension of formal training and the forum in which to practise what has been learned in class.

Our teachers lead lively, entertaining and efficient classes. Each group produces a magazine and/or a play. The young people will leave West Cork with a real feeling of achievement realising that their stay among us was a worthwhile experience. A real exchange will take place, cultural, linguistic and human.

This is the real Ireland and we will be happy to make your children truly welcome among us.
